She comes to Vital with impressive agency experience in both digital marketing and copywriting.

Her previous experience spans across the entire marketing spectrum, from social media curation and pay-per-click advertising to analytics and SEO. After getting an associate’s degree in Journalism, Maria went on to get her a degree in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida. Maria uses anthropological thought and her eclectic agency experience as a foundation for her writing. She developed a fascination with agencies early in her career and loves the challenge of learning everything about a new industry (especially B2B industries) to effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences. When she’s not working, Maria’s probably exploring Portsmouth, at a yoga class, volunteering at an animal shelter or with her nose buried in a book.

Before Vital, Jamie worked as an SEO, SEM consultant, and front-end web developer before coming to the realization that she enjoyed planning projects and working with clients to meet their goals even more than testing and coding.

When she’s not embracing life as a Vitalian, Jamie enjoys baking, reading, writing, and exploring the Portsmouth restaurant scene. She lives by the Hampton seaside with her fiance and their three cats, which are obviously and regrettably not dogs, though they have all been taught to fetch.

Devin Swett

Devin’s career started as a photographer with an international magazine dedicated to covering the sport of rowing. After his initial taste of web design, he was obsessed with the idea that you could just create anything you wanted on the web.

As the years passed he focused with Jedi like intensity, honing his web development skills. Most recently he worked at a Manchester based multimedia marketing agency as their lead web developer. When he’s not staring down code on his computer, he’s staring through the ground glass of his giant 60’s era camera, at the serene wilderness where he loves to camp.

Each summer, she donates artwork to Habitat for Humanity for their annual Garden Party fundraiser held at the Moffat-Ladd House.

Greer Lemnah

Greer Lemnah

Content Strategist

Greer Lemnah joins Vital as a Content Strategist after bouncing from Vermont to Massachusetts working primarily in higher education communications. Her experience runs the gamut of all that marketing has to offer – from spearheading a #hashtag campaign aimed at boosting college enrollment, to garnering media placement about the opioid epidemic in national outlets. Greer’s favorite aspect of agency life is the variety of clients she gets to work with and the contagious creativity found in the office. Prior to joining our team in Portsmouth, Greer most recently worked at Boston University, writing all communications and social content for their dental school (she could probably even fill a cavity for you).

Greer first fell in love with writing when she won a state-wide writing contest in fourth grade and has since had content picked up by the New York Times and Hockey East. Her favorite assignment was covering Special Olympics Team USA during their training at Lake Placid, where she got to skate with the athletes on the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” rink.

Greer graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont with a degree in Media Studies and a minor in Marketing. Out of the office, Greer can be found rooting for any and all New England sports teams, catching rays on Plum Island, or flexing her knowledge at a local trivia night.

Andy Bourne

Andy Bourne

Senior Designer

Andy joins Vital as a Senior Designer specializing in creating visually impactful designs that people can engage and have an experience with.

Andy went to school for graphic design with a concentration in typography at UMASS: Dartmouth but somewhere along the way he thought, “design would be much more interesting if you could fully interact with it”. So, he took as many programming classes as he could, much to the chagrin of his fellow artists, and plowed his way through design and programming. His first job was at Oracle, where he learned backend programming with his sweet Graphic Design degree. During that time Andy learned to love data and turned that into his next job as a software developer and designer, where he honed his front-end dev skills but also got pulled into marketing and designed everything the company needed — tradeshow booths, marketing sites, print ads, UI’s…you name it.

Outside of design, Andy tries to look away from the computer screen. He loves to do abstract acrylic paintings. You can find a few random samples here. He is also a diehard sports fan with the usual ties to New England but somehow, even living in Patriot Nation his whole life, he’s a huge Jacksonville Jaguars fans. When asked why Andy replies with “When I was young I loved their logo and colors… so, I guess I’ve always been destined to be a designer.”

Her experience with design includes internships with FootLocker.com, Major League Lacrosse and EveryBodyFights, each of which combined her passions for creativity and sports/fitness.

When Liz isn’t designing, she’s often either at the gym coming up with fun workouts or outdoors running, hiking, biking or kayaking. She also carves out time for fine art crafts including painting, drawing and 3D work; and her apartment is full of DIY items. Liz’s favorite color happens to be orange so she and Vital were clearly meant to be.

Jenny Salchunas

Jenny Salchunas

Account Manager

Jenny developed a love for project management and marketing while working on a variety of campaigns. The two she found to be the most meaningful involved implementing a bike share program for the city of Winter Park, Fla., and helping to get a million trees planted around the world. Just prior to joining Vital, Jenny was a producer at a full-service marketing agency where she executed a wide variety of projects and integrated campaigns.

While originally from New Hampshire, Jenny chose to move to New York City after graduating with a degree in Environmental Science from Rollins College in Florida. After two years of big city living, she felt it was time to move home. Although Jenny isn’t technically using her degree, she views marketing as a science. She appreciates how it’s constantly changing and that there is always something new to learn.

In her free time, Jenny loves traveling whether to a nearby weekend destination or farther afield. If you hike, enjoy the beach or frequent downtown Portsmouth’s many restaurants, you may well bump into her.

Not surprisingly, Bianca’s international beginnings instilled in her a passion for travel. She was recently in Barcelona and Greece and intends to visit Bali, Coast Rica, Africa and Italy. When not traveling, Bianca enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fiancé.

Zac Staffiere

Zac Staffiere

Videographer

Zac got his first camera in middle school, and his fate was sealed from there. With the encouragement of his high school teachers, he enrolled at Keene State College to study Film Production. Zac even got the chance to practice his craft during a semester abroad in Florence, Italy.

Following graduation, Zac did the freelance thing for a while, honing his skills while shooting a wide variety of subjects – weddings, documentaries about kid punk rock bands, and even the Boston Celtics. While he says freelancing “had its perks” the opportunity at Vital was too good to pass up.

Zac is excited to bring the cinematic touch to the world of business and marketing. He most enjoys being able to theorize a concept, orchestrate a production, and assemble all the little pieces into an artful, cohesive piece of visual media.

In his free time, Zac is pursuing his life-long goals: to write and record his own indie rock album and produce a feature-length narrative or documentary film.

Francesca Basile

Francesca Basile

Digital Marketing Consultant

Francesca joins Vital as a Digital Marketing Consultant, bringing with her a breadth of account management experience across various industries in marketing and communications.

A graduate of New York University, Franny earned a BA in Journalism and Political Science, but an early stint in magazine writing — combined with her love for action sports — brought her into the world of public relations and marketing. She got her start with agency life in New York, running PR accounts for outdoor and active lifestyle clients including Quiksilver, Roxy, Target, lululemon and NBC Sports. Following a move north to the Seacoast, Franny focused on helping outdoor gear brands build brand awareness and comprehensive marketing plans through press exposure and social media. She recently spent a year traversing the country, bringing experiential marketing programs to life for brands in the culinary, hospitality and apparel industries.

Joining Vital allows Franny to combine her account management experience with her interest in the fast-moving field of digital marketing. When not helping clients achieve goals, Franny can be found at the beach or in the mountains, checking destinations off her travel bucket list or visiting her native New York for a pizza fix.
