Chuck McMahon

Chuck McMahon is a former journalist, accomplished author and proud resident of Portsmouth. Before Vital, Chuck worked as a reporter for several Seacoast-based news publications, covering issues at the local, regional and national level. As part of that job, Chuck developed the ability to delve deeply into most any complex issue. With a degree in Creative Writing and English, Chuck also enjoys writing non-fiction, fiction and poetry. He wrote his first book in 2013 and has plans for several more. Chuck is a true local. He graduated from the local school system and is a proud resident of Islington Street, where he lives with his girlfriend and her two cats. When not at Vital, Chuck enjoys being outdoors, trying new things and traveling. He is an active member of the Portsmouth Historical Society board of trustees and volunteers for various local charities and nonprofits.
