Vital is seeking an organized and energetic coordinator to execute digital marketing and creative services initiatives that support our client strategies.

As part of our Digital Marketing Production Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal teams and clients by setting up digital marketing tools and providing production support for creative services projects.

Coordinators collaborate with various production teams, account managers, and strategists to complete projects that help our clients achieve their goals. Additionally, coordinators at Vital offer technical support and expertise to our internal team regarding marketing tools used by our clients.

We have Coordinator, Senior Coordinator and Lead Coordinator roles for those who are, or are looking to become, digital marketing technology experts and apply their knowledge and experience to help our internal team successfully execute all of our client projects.

For any of these roles, at least 2 years of company side or agency experience is needed.

Just some of the great work we do includes:

  • Distributing blog posts
  • Learning and using Automated Marketing Systems (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Etc.)
  • Building email marketing and lead nurture campaigns
  • Reporting on client website performance
  • Increasing the number of external links to a client’s website
  • Website page and post content population
  • Page building using the WordPress block editor
  • Website QA
  • Monthly website maintenance testing

****Please note, we’re only hiring this position for our headquarters, located in Portsmouth, NH.

****The coordinator position is non-remote in year 1. The ideal candidate should be local to the New Hampshire seacoast area. (The occasional WFH is acceptable, but this is not a 2:3, 3:2 or fully remote role).

Any Coordinator with more than 1 year at Vital or who lives > than 35 miles from HQ can request a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

Complete Vital-created training around some of our core production tasks so you can properly and successfully execute them (reporting, link building, monthly maintenance, and page building just to name a few).

Work with account managers, strategists, and your fellow production team members to execute and report on client projects and digital strategies to help them meet their goals.

Stay up to date on our ever-evolving tech stack and apply your knowledge to your daily workload.

Collaborate with and be a knowledge resource to the internal team by providing internal support, troubleshooting, and best practice guidance for all digital marketing tools in our tech stack.

Learn to use new tools as needed and provide internal support for client initiatives.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Have experience with (or the ability to rapidly learn) the ins and outs of each of our marketing and creative services software systems. Including, but not limited to:

  • Magento
  • HubSpot
  • Gravity Forms

… and many more on a daily basis. You will be responsible for learning how to navigate through each one as they are added to our tech stack.

Be an active participant in problem-solving, troubleshooting and task execution both independently and alongside your fellow production team members, strategists and account managers.

An ideal candidate will:

Be inbound marketing certified (via HubSpot).

Have an understanding of basic digital marketing and website-building related terms and strategies like:

  • Blogging
  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Link building
  • Email marketing
  • Social media marketing
  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Have some comfort with WordPress.

Be familiar with Google Sheets, Google Docs and Looker Studio.

Have a working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and how it can track and measure performance at a basic level. The ability to find trends and patterns within data is a huge plus.

Have some knowledge of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Campaign Monitor, and what they do/how they work.

Have some knowledge of other inbound marketing tools like Moz, HotJar, SEMRush, HeyOrca, Zapier, CallRail, MailChimp, OptinMonster.

Have some experience with quality testing websites and effectively documenting issues.

Examples of Coordinator Responsibilities:

Report on your clients’ monthly progress using Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Google Analytics, HubSpot and other key marketing tools unique to each client.

Develop relationships with website editors to drive link building strategy.

Work within email marketing software to draft and send emails, create segments and set up lead nurture workflows.

Build website pages in WordPress.

Properly draft blog posts according to SEO best practices, publish and promote on social media.

Populate client websites with provided copy and images.

Test client websites for design and functionality.

Execute digital marketing tool setup and provide troubleshooting support and tool insight to account managers and strategists.
