Vital is looking for an organized and energetic associate who is eager to learn how to execute the various digital marketing and creative services initiatives that fuel our client strategies.

Our coordinators work directly with coordinators, account managers, and strategists to complete projects that will help our clients meet their goals.

Just some of the great work we do includes:

  • Distributing blog posts
  • Learning and using Automated Marketing Systems (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Etc.)
  • Building email marketing and lead nurture campaigns
  • Reporting on client website performance
  • Increasing the number of external links to a client’s website
  • Website page and post content population
  • Page building using the WordPress block editor
  • Website QA
  • Monthly website maintenance testing

Reviews will be conducted after 3 and 6 months to ensure the associate’s performance is on track.

After one year in the associate role, associates may be offered a coordinator position, which includes taking on more specialty tasks, research, and responsibilities.

Location:

The associate position is on-site. Candidates should be local to the New Hampshire seacoast area and will be expected to commute to our Portsmouth office full-time for their first year.

Responsibilities:

Complete Vital-created training around some of our core production tasks so you can properly and successfully execute them (reporting, link building, monthly maintenance, and page building just to name a few).

Work with account managers, strategists, and your fellow production team members to execute and report on client projects and digital strategies to help them meet their goals.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Have the ability to rapidly learn the ins and outs of our marketing and creative services software systems, including, but not limited to:

  • Google Analytics (GA4)
  • WordPress
  • Looker Studio
  • Google Tag Manager
  • HubSpot
  • Gravity Forms
  • Moz
  • Hotjar
  • OptinMonster
  • MailChimp

… and many more on a daily basis. You will be responsible for learning how to navigate through each one.

Learn how to be an active participant in problem-solving, troubleshooting and task execution both independently and alongside your fellow production team members, strategists and account managers.

Personal Skills & Abilities:

Applicants should be prepared to commit to one year in this role to learn the ins and outs of the production team and it’s purpose at Vital.

Our strongest associates have excellent time management and communication skills in-person and digitally.

Exceptional attention to detail is a requirement.

A humble, down-to-earth attitude when learning and asking questions in order to grow and contribute to Vital’s process, projects, and strategies.

The ability to take ownership of a task and carry it through to the finish line.

Possess the flexibility to smoothly respond to changing deadlines and priorities.

Be process-focused, with the ability to execute multiple complex projects at once.

Be a reliable team player who is prepared to collaborate and work closely with a vibrant and creative team.

An Ideal Candidate Will:

Be inbound marketing certified (via HubSpot)

Have an understanding of basic digital marketing and website-building related terms and strategies like:

  • Blogging
  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Link building
  • Email marketing
  • Social media marketing
  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Have some comfort with WordPress.

Be familiar with Google Sheets, Google Docs and Looker Studio.

Have some knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and how it can track and measure performance at a basic level. The ability to find trends and patterns within data is a huge plus.

Have some knowledge of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Campaign Monitor, and what they do/how they work.

Have some knowledge of other inbound marketing tools like Moz, HotJar, SEMRush, HeyOrca, Zapier, CallRail, MailChimp, OptinMonster.

Have some experience with quality testing websites and effectively documenting issues.
