Courtney Martin

Courtney’s pursuit of excellence in writing began after sharing a high school AP English essay draft with her older sister, an English major. That first bit of criticism (emphasized by the red ink scattered across the pages) motivated Courtney to avoid further embarrassment and become a better writer.

A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Courtney’s earliest professional writing experiences included crafting social media posts and website copy for vacation rentals and golf courses. Over the years, she has worked as a writer across a range of industries, from hospitality to financial services to health and wellness.

Hailing from a family of farmers, Courtney’s ideal life would include a small homestead with a few chickens, goats, dogs, plenty of cats, and honeybees. A girl can dream!
