Jen Hazell

Account Manager, ca. '22

“Are there any animals here?”

me, always

Jen discovered she wanted to be in the digital media and marketing world while interning at a media company in Rhode Island. So far, Jen has focused primarily on digital marketing in her career, and is excited to extend her experience into new and different applications.

Jen is equal parts digital nerd and animal/nature lover. She also has a love of culture and languages, which was solidified during a 6-month immersion program in Granada, Spain. Jen’s favorite “business” book is, by far, Let My People Go Surfing by Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, who she very much looks up to as a mentor.

Jen is truly unsure of how many animals she has at any given time. They include dogs, a cat, ducks, chickens, and whatever else she may be fostering. When she’s not saying yes to every person who asks her to pet-sit, you can find Jen scootin’ around town on the moped she bought to celebrate getting a job at Vital.

  2. I always have a blanket in hand; the "traveling quilt" my grandmother made me one year for Christmas is definitely my favorite.
  3. As a child I successfully used PowerPoint to outline to my parents why I should be able to adopt two new pets (degus), complete with Benefits, Drawbacks, Schedule, and Approximate Cost.
