American Modular Systems (AMS), California’s leading manufacturer of modular schools, approached us with a goal of consolidating two dated, under-performing websites to a singular mega site capable of executing sophisticated digital marketing and lead generation strategies. AMS asked us to solidify their brand identity, define their product lines, and engage their prospective buyers. Vital recognized that a mega site solution would better harness AMS’ brand equity while improving their SEO. Their products would perform better as one platform, with deliberate product funnels and an overarching buyer’s journey.
We delivered a sleek, user-friendly site that incorporates strong imagery and subtle animation to showcase their photo and video assets. This new look amplified their industry expertise while weaving together their unique story. By focusing on an engaging user experience, Vital helped AMS introduce their new branding and educate new and existing customers on the full scope of their services.
As one of the largest modular manufacturers in the country, AMS retains a strong focus on designing sustainable solutions to empower future generations. Since students and teachers are at the heart of their mission, the redesign needed to communicate these strong values. Vital illustrated their company history and family-owned roots using a timeline with subtle interactivity highlighting pertinent photography and videography. We built out a robust resource section to house content and position them as a thought leader. Each carefully planned feature simultaneously showcases their mission and enhances the user experience.
These comprehensive grids illustrate each product line for quick browsing. Easy-to-follow characteristics differentiate each service offering, and supplementary galleries help users identify the best solution for their project.
Designed with a masonry style photo layout, this extensive portfolio showcases how their modular buildings have been customized for each project. Viewers can search the gallery by school type or by brand and review each project’s specifications and photo library. The templated layout enables AMS to continuously update the portfolio as they complete new projects.
In order to combine the information from two separate websites, we created individual pages to highlight each product offering. The “Find Your Building” feature introduced an eCommerce-like functionality for users to filter through the different products. Vital introduced interactive building renderings on the individual product pages, allowing users to explore each model’s unique features. This clean asset was a cost-effective, user-friendly way to educate users about the characteristics of each product line.
Streamlining communication was important to increase efficiency. We integrated their forms with Salesforce to segment by zip code and forward information to the correct salesperson by territory.
