The University of Cincinnati Online (UC Online) came to us with the goal of improving user experience for both prospective students and website administrators. Challenged with consolidating over 300 pages of content across multiple platforms, Vital designed and developed a sleek, organized, intuitive new site capable of demonstrating the myriad benefits of a UC Online education.
We had to talk to the right people with this new look. Single parents, busy parents, ambitious parents, all of them need to feel at home here. Also all busy and ambitious people beyond that. They pair you with an advisor right off the bat and it's a very cool thing, so we needed to push it.
Great assortment of courses that need a couple layers of filtering to really get users their ideal situation.
We needed some unique icons to push the new but still traditional look from the rest of the site.
The ratio of desktop vs. mobile is the most lopsided it's ever been and its not changing anytime soon. We're dealing with over 50% mobile usage regularly now. Needless to say you've got to optimize and design for mobile.
