We had a great time celebrating our “better late than never” holiday party at the One Hundred Club on March 28. From cocktail hour to dessert, every detail—and every bite—was exceptional. We wouldn’t expect anything less from the amazing team at the One Hundred Club.
Our party was held in the River Room, the One Hundred Club’s largest event space. It was a perfect time to get together, relax, enjoy the great food and drinks at the One Hundred Club, and celebrate another great year at Vital Design. The raw bar, including oysters, lobster tails and freshly made sushi, was a particular favorite.
The River Room was decorated with custom centerpieces made by our Director of Operations Jess Kenney. She folded dozens of origami cranes out of orange paper, and her creations doubled as mementos of the night. (Watch out, Martha Stewart!)
The One Hundred Club is a private club located at the top of the One Hundred Market Street building (Springer’s Jewelers and Banana Republic are located on the street level). Although the club itself is private, anyone can host events at the gracious and elegant River Room or the club’s other, smaller spaces. The One Hundred Club is a popular choice for meetings, business events and rehearsal dinners in Portsmouth.
The One Hundred Club has hosted Vital Design’s corporate events and company parties in the past, and the bartenders have even developed a signature cocktail for Vital. It is, obviously, orange.

We continued the celebration with coffee service and an amazing dessert spread, and took team photos on the outdoor terrace overlooking the Piscataqua River and the Portsmouth skyline—the best view in Portsmouth, if you ask us.
