Vital Spotlight: Longtime Branding/Marketing Professional Primed for Leadership Role

By now it should be no secret that Vital hires the best and the brightest when it comes to digital marketing, project management, web design and development — seriously, just look at our growing roster of talented individuals.

This knack for bringing on top-notch talent isn’t by chance however, it’s part of a purpose-built process we’ve created that has helped make Vital one of the fastest growing companies in America, not to mention a place that is deeply revered for its workplace culture.

One of the best examples of this successful hiring process is DJ Haskins. Not only is he a seasoned veteran in the branding and digital marketing space, but he is also a proven leader and respected educator.

Say Hello to D.J.:

D.J. Haskins

D.J. joined Vital in 2017 as the Director of Strategy after working in the branding and digital marketing space since the early 2000s. Before joining the team, D.J. was a partner at Lightfin Studios from 2006 until its merger with MicroArts in 2011. There he worked as Director of Client Strategies.

D.J. has a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. He also teaches Digital Marketing for The Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.

As a veteran digital marketer, D.J. works with clients to help formulate and execute strategies and tactics that drive revenue and meet business objectives. His experience as a business owner equips him with the skillset to quickly understand client challenges and develop strategies that grow their brand effectively and efficiently.

A proud dad/husband, D.J. enjoys listening to the latest podcasts from Bill Simmons, Russell Brunson, Marcus Sheridan and Gary V. In addition to his family, D.J. believes his greatest achievements thus far in life have been accomplishing the bucket lists of his 20s and 30s — for his 20s this included bartending, traveling for work, living in California, getting his MBA and starting a business; for his 30s, getting married, starting a family, buying a house, selling his business, teaching at UNH and finding a good work-life balance. He is currently working on his bucket list for his 40s.
